I'm Sorry, How Much?

Dear Mom,
$18,000? Sorry, but you're daughter's kind of a ho-bag. Please don't tell Dad. I don't think his heart could take it.

Sincerely,
Reality

Let's Talk About Your Big Butt, Obama

Here's Obama taking the blame for not living up to his promises to make sweeping immigration reform, while at the same time calling it John McCain's fault. And while I agree that McCain's a dueche, that's not taking responsibility for your failure. What he should have said is that "I couldn't grant amnesty to all illegal aliens living in the United States because the majority of the people are against it and it would have hurt my chances for re-election." Of course, he's talking to a hispanic news forum, so he's just pandering anyway. The big point is, this guy has never admitted to anything without a disclaimer. A "butt" if you will.

You're Welcome

This is Awful

What a bunch of horseshit. Parents being interrogated and even arrested for letting their children play outside? I think you should be able to punch your neighbor in the face if they call CPS because your kids are outside. This country doesn't stand a chance, does it?

Facts Be Brutal

I like this chick. Nice dig at the end by the way.

Today's Word is "Back"

As in, I'm back from vacation. Or as in this new Obama support campaign my favorite liberal friend posted on Facebook.

Methinks we may not be friends much longer as I had to point out that The One appears to be walking away in 2012 and I like that.

I've Completely Had It!

Thank you MC for starting up this blog again 'cause I've just reached my boiling point.  A facebook friend (who actually is a friend and great person) posted this as if its fact and then ranted and raved about how bigoted and stupid Akin is.

http://dailycurrant.com/2012/08/26/todd-akin-claims-breastmilk-cures-homosexuality/

What part of "The Global Satirical Newspaper of Record" don't you understand??

Even worse, a bunch of people piled on.  Talk about gullible.

I wanted to post this as my response article:

http://twitchy.com/2012/08/28/liberals-fall-for-daily-currant-akin-breast-milk-satire-fall-all-over-themselves-to-smear-gop-with-a-spoof/

But I posted this seeing as it would be a site most of those knuckleheads "read":

Hey look, I've figured out to link to the facebook thread I'm talking about:

They Are Starting To Panic

Can you feel it?  I don't know about you guys, but some of the most ardent liberals on my facebook have been going post crazy recently.  One in particular posted this picture today.

This is not the first time he has used his post to remind us all how glorious it is to be liberal.  But is it a reminder or is it pleading?

Here's the Problem.

This is why the left is able to lean on class warfare in their campaigns. And there really is no way to defend it, to be honest.

Recently, at my job, my department had an all hands event. It was on site, during working hours (although many people had to adjust their hours to attend and everyone ended up having to leave during the heart of rush hour) and it was pleasant enough, but it wasn't any kind of company party. You see, when the economy went bad, they cancelled our holiday (Christmas!) party and our summer picnic, so now we have this nice big, silly gathering that cuts into our workday (that's a bad thing for a lot of us) once a year and that's basically it. We also have team builders for each of our smaller teams. These usually include going to Dave & Busters for a taco bar and some games or some other such type of thing. And those are nice as well, but they are not the same thing as the nice celebrations we used to have. So for the last two years during these department get togethers, they run photos of each team's team builders on a couple of monitors while everyone is eating their tacos (always tacos) so you can see how much fun we all have together. But they also show photos from our department's management team team builder and let me just tell you that it's the most tone deaf display you will ever see. These parties are for roughly 50-75 people and the tab clearly soars into 6 figures. It's insulting to show these photos to people who make a tiny fraction of what management makes and never have a chance to share in the extravagances that management indulges in. I'm not saying it's wrong that management spends that kind of money on their own celebrations either, though it is easy to make the argument. I'm saying that if you decide that on top of your high 6 figure salary, you need the company to foot the bill for your James Bond themed pat-on-the-backfest, you probably shouldn't flaunt it so egregiously in front of "the help."

Help Me Out Here

So, without naming names, here is a post lifted straight off of Facebook that I just had to share:

They haven't even been letting us vote for a hundred years yet, and they can take our right to vote away pretty easily if we don't pay attention. All it takes is a lot of money in the wrong offshore accounts. Please vote ladies! We have a lot of work to do!

Attached was this link:

http://dpsinfo.com/women/

Can someone explain this to me? At first I thought she was referring to the Voter ID law, but the claim is that that particular law targets minorities. And then she clearly invokes the "ladies" out there to vote, so that coupled with the link appears to imply this is about women's voting rights. The mention of offshore accounts implicates Romney. So, what I'm getting is that this person believes Romney intends to take away women's voting rights, and that if he wanted too, it'd be easy. That has to be what she's saying, right? My God, it's like the Obama campaign is able to inject their ads directly into her brain.

Wow.

This from The Onion. Doesn't even feel like a humor piece. Kind of gave me goosebumps. Good ones.

Way to Drum Up Interest, Media

So, police try to evict a man in Texas and he ends up shooting severals officers and bystanders, killing one officer and one civilian before being taken out himself. So, first thing the media does ia make sure to mention-in the headline no less-that the incident took place "near" the Texas A&M campus. Because that is somehow relevant to the story. This is America; Pretty much everything that happens in any city or reasonably sized town is going to happen "near" a school. Then they go on to note how this happened in the wake of the mass shootings in Aurora, Colorado and the Sikh Temple in Wisconsin. Wow, that is a bit of a stretch. The motivation for this shooting doesn't exactly fall in line with the motivation for the others. And the local news reports that it "appears" he was using automatic weapons. That is just some solid hysteria building there, media. Way to report the news. Seriously, is there some sort of media agenda app for this kind of story?

Why Does the Dog Parkour?

Why does the caged bird sing? I bet that dogs scores insane amounts of tail. Pulls fine bitches left and right. Seriously, is it possible for a dog to be a douchebag? I hope Parkour Dog is in the next James Bond movie.
