Governator Does Something I Agree With. SHOCKING!!!
Arnie stops welfare withdrawal through Casino ATM's. Not that they can't just go to the nearest 7-11 and pull money out anyway, but at least it's an inconvenience for some of the lazier ones.
I am wondering how long Arnie wanted to do this before it finally went through.

Uhh...Really?
You don't really even need to bother checking out this article. It's just another "What do we need to do about the oil spill?" piece. I'm merely linking it in case you care to see where the most hilarious line ever typed came from.
"Yes, there is an aspect of theatrical performance inherent in the presidency, and no, Obama doesn't seem to relish that part of his job."

Today Is Flag Day
I'm flying mine outside the house. Don't see any others, of course.
Its also the 235th anniversary of the Army. Congrats Ryan.
Finally, I'm going to start using Bing as my search engine. Go to www.google.com and www.bing.com and you'll understand why.

Too Bad...
...this will never fly. And really, it probably shouldn't. But still...
Friday Video...
...with pictures!
I was in SF last night to see Stiff Little Fingers. I parked behind a truck with bumper stickers on it. The usual, right? Wrong! The driver is one of us!
And here's a Stiff Little Fingers video. They still play as well as this.
Here are the lyrics to Suspect Device. I like to pretend they are about a conservative view point in a liberal dominated world, even though that's not the point of view from which the song was written.
"Why can't we take over and try to put it right?"

Glorious!
It's nice to know that some "journalists" are still making excuses for Obama. Never give up, Newsweek! And seriously, angry Obama is probably not the same as, say, angry Rampage Jackson on the threatening to white people meter.

Impossible!
There isn't enough burnt umber in the world to express my surprise over this. Seriously, though, those questions don't take into account they way I feel.
Everyone Is On A Chris Christie High
Wait til this guy slips up. Not only will liberals pounce, but conservatives will too. Republican politicians are held to a higher standard by all.
Nonetheless, hear him ROCK!!!

Chris Christie
OK, so we've been getting a lot of Chris Christie out in the blogosphere, but heck, I think I can listen to this guy all day.
Christie speaks in Washington DC, calling Newark schools 'absolutely disgraceful' |
17 Months Into Obama's Presidency And A Lot Of Bush Bashing Still Going On
So it's time AGAIN to defend the man who kicked ass and took names when we needed him to.
This is a Strange One.
The courts are backing criminal cases against people who film cops on duty. On the one hand, this seems to be an obvious miscarriage of justice, but at the same time I sort of believe that due to the reactionary nature of our society it is probably some sort of obstruction of justice to Youtube police action out of context.
Xerxes
I'm jealous of people who say they are going to do something like this and then actually end up doing it. Is it going back to the well one too many times? We'll see, but I am intrigued to see how he depicts the Athenian naval fleet.
This, on the other hand, I'm not so sure about.

Holy Crap!
Didn't these people see Armageddon?! They'll split the planet in half!
Big Win for Enivronmentalists!
Plastic bags are out in California! This crazy planet just might make it after all. Fart noise.

Global Warming Can't Heat Up Gore's Marriage
here
"a mutual and mutually supportive decision that we have made together following a process of long and careful consideration." That and he's probably tired of turning down sweet young poon (or hiding it) since he has become enviro rock star.

And Now...
...that the spill was not contained after all, the Obama administration actually has very little to do with the handling of it.
