Is This Real?

Why do I even ask? Of course it's real.

I Just Don't Know...

...what to say about this kind of stuff. I have a doctor threatening to send me to collections if I don't pay a bill that he can't really justify from an ER visit over 2 years ago. I wonder why? My insurance won't touch it because he was an out of network, on-call doc and he waited nearly two years to bill me. My only other recourse would appear to be legal action, which would probably cost more than the bill.

Two In One

I found two really great articles on Pat Dollard's webpage that I think you guys should check out.

The first article is about, at least what I got from it, Americans focusing on people who already focus on themselves, while almost completely ignoring those who perform selfless acts of duty.

The second one, well, the title speaks for itself. Winnig One Battle, Fighting the Next

Hollywood Losing It's Ass Over Antiwar Films

Here is a little light reading to brighten your day before the weekend.

Money Quote
"Rendition," which features three Oscar winners in key roles, grossed $4.1
million over the weekend in 2,250 screens for a ninth-place finish. A
re-release
of "The Nightmare Before Christmas" beat it, and it's 14 years
old.

I wonder how much they paid Reese Witherspoon to do this piece of shit. This could go down as the biggest failure since Ishtar.

Hey Guys, Look At Me! I Am Posting Something Good About Those Dirty Dems

I guess the Dems and their pundits aren't always Effed up. Check out this video of Clinton.
and this one of Bill Maher

Also, I listened to a Chris Mathews interview on Michael Medved and he wasn't so bad. Maybe he is just an ass on T.V. in order to get ratings up.
I don't know.

Right or wrong, its not popular, so its not allowed.

Instead of disproving his theory, he's just forced to quit.

Code Pink's Game Plan

Part of Code Pinks' gameplan is to disrupt congress, get arrested, film it and then post the video on the internet to show that their 1st amendments rights are being violated.

What they don't show are scenes like this. (Same day as video)

Code pinkie pushing her red painted hand, symbolizing blood, in front of Rice's face.

The Borg Collective

Michael Yon fittingly calls his new post "Resistance is futile: You will be (mis)informed" Referring to the consistant misinformation, delivered to the public, by the media, about the war in Irag. What he calls the "pessimistic dogma dome."

Coincidentally, I have a Borg air-freshener hanging from my rearview mirror, which is my secret way of thumbing my nose at the misinformed liberal Portland collective group think.

Michael Yon and I are simpatico.

Liberty

Now don't have a heart attack after you watch this video. I am not a 9/11 conspiracy theorist and this video does have a lot of that in it. But we should practice what we preach and listen to some other ideas. As a staunch libertarian, I do fear totalitarian thought. World government is what I fear the most. Someone showed me this and it is fear mongering. But I did find large aspects interesting. You will to.

Picture Of The Week

This picture kills me (No pun intended.) When I look it I immediatly think of scene from "Logan's Run."

Hmmm..... You know what? I think Logan's Run and Jihadists have a lot more in common than just their costumes.

UPDATE: Smear Letter Reaches $2.1 Million

Talk about your all time backfires. MSM wont be able to ignore this.
Or can they?

Great News! Not Everyone In Berkeley Is Crazy.

I was over at Pat Dollard's site, as usual, and he linked to a great post from "Move America Forward." A rally happened between MAF and Code Pink. If you know Berkeley at all, then the pictures taken at the rally are enough to make you cry.
Tears of joy of course.

I am puzzled about one thing though. A few times the author of the site accuses code pink of sending $600,000.00 to insurgents in Fallujah. Does anyone know what this person is talking about or where Code Pink got the money if they had sent it? I mean I virtually lived next door to Code Pink's headquarters in the Bay Area, which was on the border of Berkeley and Albany, and I can tell you that the word "modest" doesn't accurately describe the shitbox these ladies dwelled in. Have they grown? Baron, you live close. Do you know?

I Got Nothin'

Make of it what you will.

I can't say whether this is right or wrong, because I'm no scientist. It does occur to me, though, that the scientific community is awfully quick to hang the loony tag on anything that assaults their liberal senses. Oops, I made it political. The last paragraph is what's wrong with the world today, by the way.

And the Japanese are seriously twisted. Don't let PETA see this. It is kind of cruel, though.

Smear Letter Reaches $56,000.00 On Ebay

Normally I wouldn't talk about an issue that involved Rush Limbaugh, but his latest antic just kills me, so I had to post on it.

Recently, 41 senators signed a letter, headed by Harry Reid and Dick Durbin, asking for Clear Channel Communications to publicly repudiate Limbaugh for his "phony soldiers" comment.

So what, right? Well that isn't the funny part. What is great about all this is that Limbaugh is now auctioning the letter on ebay and the bid has reached $56,000.00 with 3 days to go. Limbaugh promises to give the money, once the auction is over, to the Marine-Corps Law Enforcement Foundation.

Here is the letter.

and here is the auction.

P.S. The letter will be delivered to the winner in a titanium case made by Halliburton. Totally Awesome!

Ok, fine, my "Gore should not have won the Nobel Prize post"

There are a lot of reasons why, but I'll only focus on one in this post. I'm blatantly ripping off Greg Gutfeld on this one.

Its more about who didn't get the prize so that Gore's head, his girth, and his investment portfolio could grow larger. Its about who didn't get the prize so that this award could promote a political agenda.

Do a search for Irena Sendler and see who got passed over for Garotzuva. She fits the description of someone who should win a "peace" prize. But maybe its better they didn't award a "peace" price to her since the same Nobel people gave the award to Yasser Arafat.

The Mexican Gay Gene

No, I'm not making it up. These guys are trying to prove that being gay is not a choice, but its an inherited genetic trait, just like height or hair color.

My point is not to debate whether its a choice or not, but that if they prove their point they are just as screwed, because science has come up for cures for things that are genetic in nature. We have drugs to help people grow. We have drugs to make people happy who are genetically depressed. We have drugs to help genetically fat people lose weight. You see where I'm going with this.

If they prove its genetic, then it can be argued that you can be "cured".

Save The Humans: Stop Lawyers

Just imagine how much farther along we may be against all diseases if it wasn't for class action lawsuits going after those who are trying to help us.

"The other gain is the result of new treatments, which are credited with doubling survival times for the most advanced patients.
In 1996, there was just one truly effective drug for colon cancer. Today, there are six more, giving patients a variety of chemotherapy cocktails to try to hold their tumors in check, said Dr. Louis Weiner, medical oncology chief at Philadelphia's Fox Chase Cancer Center and a colorectal cancer specialist."

Good Stuff.

I Have To Admit...

...this might normally fall under the sarcastic heading, "Women Are So Freaking Wonderful," but this guy seems pretty douchey for doing this in the first place. I mean seriously, what an asshat.

When Will People Learn?

Okay, so the cops killed a teenager who was brandishing an iron. As the "victim's" aunt points out, he wasn't carrying a universally recognized weapon, such as a knife or a crowbar, so the family has taken the necessary precaution of hiring a lawyer. Most likely they chose one of the lawyers skulking around their front porch as soon as this story broke. I hate to sound so callous, but 15 is plenty old enough to know that you have no business coming at a police officer with an iron. Also, I'm tired of hearing the same old, "Why couldn't they have shot him in the leg?" garbage. Don't make the police have to decide where they're going to shoot you in the first place!

but I still like this song.

Republicans Grow The Govt. Slower

You know, they are right. There isn't much of a difference between the two parties. Bush just vetoed a bill that would have given children "free" health insurance. Not all children mind you, but "the children" just the same. (In order to qualify for the insurance one would have to be under 25 years old and living in a household of $82,000.00 /year or less.) So Bush wisely vetoes it. What makes me angry is what Bush says after the veto. He says he wants congress to "focus the program strictly on low-income children."

What? No. Bad idea. No one covered. Nothing is "free"

It must be so easy being a Democrat, because now they know who the devil is. They don't have to look for him any further, for he is the wicked one who didn't give children health insurance.

Damn It!!!

And I really liked 30 Rock, too.

I Love These Nutjobs.

Fun quotes from animal rights activists. I love Bill Maher's quote, because you can never have enough reasons to hate Bill Maher.

Update: This is pretty good, too.

Go Hollywood.

Sure to be the greatest movie of our time.

Cool.

Would this guy go to jail for the rest of his life or be stoned by an angry mob if this happened in the USA?

Ann Coulter Is A Bitch.

That being said, I'd probably marry her.

"If we took away women's right to vote, we'd never have to worry about another Democrat president. It's kind of a pipe dream, it's a personal fantasy of mine, but I don't think it's going to happen. And it is a good way of making the point that women are voting so stupidly, at least single women."

"It also makes the point, it is kind of embarrassing, the
Democratic Party ought to be hanging its head in shame, that it has so much difficulty getting men to vote for it. I mean, you do see it’s the party of women and 'We’ll pay for health care and tuition and day care -- and here, what else can we give you, soccer moms?'"

Animal Crackers

Watched the movie "Animal Crackers" from the Marx Bros. this past weekend and it was pretty good. My favorite part of the movie is when Chico is playing the piano for the guests of the party. He does two songs and both are funny, but the second one is amazing.
Long video, so go about 3 mins and 10 secs in.
