Maybe it was a bunch of apple juice jettisoned from the Enterprise??
In the 13 years I lived in SLO (which is near Vandenberg AFB) I saw something exaclty like this once.Long streak of glowing green stuff that was truly other-worldly.Turns out it was a failed missile test.
