Of course, the real answer can't possibly be that most peolpe in the state of California simply oppose gay marriage. It must have been the evil "lies" perpetrated by the anti-gay marriage propaganda machine. Whatever the case, I'm sure the lawyers and politicians will work it out and give the people what they really want.
