Update: What this guy said. I couldn't agree more. The Muslims who supposedly do not endorse radical Islam should not even be trying to do this. They claim to "understand." I believe they understand all too well.

Exactly. Even if the Muslims who want to put up this mosque really are completely oblivious to how innappropriate it is, terrorist organizations will take this and use it as another victory.
Hell, I'm starting to think terrorism works. Who wants to start blowing shit up in the name of The San Diego Padres? Anyone? Maybe we could get more than one ballpark built. One in every city if we're lucky. That would be awesome!
