Surprise, Freakin' Surprise!

Who ever could have guessed this? And yet those 18 to 24 year olds are so educated about everything else. You know, like why George Bush sucks. Or why the war sucks. Or why Rumsfeld sucks. Or why Cheney shot his friend.

I would say that many adults don't know where Iraq is or even New Orleans. If they did, maybe they would have a better understanding on what is really going on in the world. To many, Iraq is just a far off place where Arabs live...So what is the point of being there? Oil?

If one looks at the map they can see many interesting things. Afghanistan and Pakistan lie on Iran's eastern border. Russian domination to Iran's North and Iraq and Turkey to the west. If all goes well in Iraq and Afghan. then Iran can be somewhat Isolated. Pakistan still harbors terrorists but the Govt. is friendly to the US. Turkey didn't let us use Airspace, but they are also somewhat friendly and who knows about Russia.

Israel has Jordon on its eastern border, Lebanon to the North and Egypt to the South. Jordon is friendly to the US. Lebanon kicked out Syrian troops and Egypt is currently overgoing a Democratic overhaul. Israel could be isolated, hopefully, as well.
