Think Air America's demise will factor in the re-birth of the fairness doctrine?

What is this I hear about Air America's bankruptcy?

I've just finished a chapter in Stossel's latest book about equality activists and the unintended disasters caused by their attempt at control.

Its sick the way people and lawyers conspire to take a law created upon good intentions and twist it into something that it was never intended for, thereby making the new twisted interpretation and use of the law the de-facto way in which the law is now used. The initial focus gets completely lost.

Therefore, always vote no (or at least do some deep informational digging before voting) for "fairness" laws, "consumer protection" laws, "affirmative action" laws, "equal access" laws, etc.

Its also nice to hear Mr. Will is on the same page. Nice to see he still gets to write for Newsweek. I used to read his column every other week during high school. One week he gets to talk, the other week a liberal gets to talk.

Following these two guys every week made it very easy to see what path I'd eventually choose. Heck, George Will is a huge baseball fan ta boot.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions. Just wanted to throw that out there.
