The ~Downfall~ of HDDVD

Blogust said I should post this.

I do BluRay and HDDVD player development for a living. If you buy a BluRay or HDDVD set-top player, my software may be inside of it.

Anyway, there's this whole hullabaloo over which format will win. Its looking like its going to be BluRay. Last week at CES (the big Consumer Electronics Show in Vegas every year), Warner Brothers announced that they will stop producing HDDVD disks and will just produce BluRay. That same day Microsoft (who's heavily in the HDDVD camp) along with Toshiba and other HDDVD big wigs cancelled a major press conference and training seminar.

Someone created this video as a spoof. The original Downfall is good. See it if you have the chance and can handle a depressing movie.

For some reason embed is not working for this video.
