Yo, Joe.
So, in the new live action G.I. Joe film, the Joe team is now NATO, Duke, Flint and Hawk are gone, and Ripcord is in charge. And Ripcord is black. And he's a Wayans brother. Awesome job, Hollywood, why not just cast Obama? Look for some strong parallels between Cobra Commander and G-Dub. Actually, I heard that Destro will be in charge and that there is no Cobra Commander, but that may have just been a rumor.

I don't have much issue with Wayans. Demographically, young black males are more likely to see this type of movie (per capita) than any other group so the choice seems to make sense. The NATO issue is irritating. GI Joe, as you all know, means Government Issue and was meant for the US soldier. Why being a US soldier is so bad is still beyond me....
