Better Late Than Never, I Guess.

It's funny, Blogust, Comrade Yellow Dancer and I have been ranting about how they should be doing this for ten years or so now.

I have to say, I love the part about how the Patriot Act affects your bank accounts. I bet that section is titled, "How to Keep George Bush Out of Your Wallet."

For the last 10 years eh? Well this old fart has been saying that for 20 years!

Why do high schools spend time on art classes and teaching languages like French when about 30% of the school day should be spend on business, taxes, and finance?

Yeah! Art is key. If you learned anything from Mr. Holland's Opus then you would know that art teaches us life experience.

Ahh just kidding. I loved art and it is usually an elective not a requirement, so I don't think it interferes. Social studies and other cultural awerness B.S. are the ones they should can. History and Geography are plenty good enough.

Classes for High School.
English
P.E.
Math
Science
History/Geography
Language two years
Economics two years
Art as an elective

That is how I see it anyway.
