I dunno. I call fake, and its gonna backfire hard.
The B is backwards. Is the picture flipped or did she scratch it into her face while looking in a mirror.
Also, when you get a black eye, the white part or your eye turns red. The blood vessels get damaged. I don't see that in this photo nor do I see the expected amount of swelling around her eye.
We'll see.

It looks like he drew a lower case "b" first and then added the top part later.
I think I might be the dumb one. Might have been caught up in the moment.
Speaking as someone who has had a couple of black eyes, I can attest that there isn't always blood vessel damage turning your whites red. Especially if you get popped in the nose, which just cause swelling and bruising around your eyes. Now, if you are actually struck directly in the orbital, sure you're going to get some bum-eye action then.
