Tower has totally sucked for about 20 years. Hard to believe they made it this long.
True, but I remember when Tower was the cool record store. Hmm. Maybe cause my buddy worked there and everything was "discounted." Oh crap, it's my fault their going out of business.
I too remember when it was the cool store, but then again since I was in the burbs the only competition was The Warehouse.Then I found The Vinyl Solution, a private record store which is still going, and I never went back to Tower execpt to rent VHS videos.Tower does own some prime real estate. I'm sure they will make more on the property sales than they do in a year with store sales.
