I wonder if this doctor realizes how much of a pompous ass he sounds like in this "article?" I wish I could bitch about my job in Time magazine. Maybe if I somehow made my rant "green" they'd let me.

What was the point? Patients are too free to choose their own doctor? The woman should visit a doctor who is more in her "class"? I feel like something is going on with this article, but they aren't saying it.
P.S. I partially credit google for the speedy surgery I received a few months. I was able to explain my symptoms better and direct the doctor in the right direction. After thorough testing, it was determined that I did have apendicitis and got into surgery quickly. Who knows how long it would have been if all I said was that my side hurt.
