In case you haven't heard, Gwen Ifill, the moderator for tonights debate, has written a pro-Obama book that is to be released on inauguration day. This gives her a vested interest in tonights debate outcome, becuase if Obama is elected, she stands to sell thousands. If not, the only people who will read it will be her friends and family.
But how would someone like Ifill be able to influence the debate one way or another without seeming biased? All she does is ask questions, right?
Ace gives us an awesome example of what she and Biden might do. This is a must read. Very entertaining.
Oh well, I still feel that Palin has her head on straight and was the right pick.
UPDATE: Ifill's cousin says Palin is offensive to black women
“From the first day, Palin presented herself as shooting a bear in the morning, field dressing it, cooking up the breakfast, diapering the babies, passing legislation in the afternoon, cleaning the house, satisfying her husband, etc., etc., etc. And it’s just not true,” she wrote in an e-mail interview. “It’s hard to be an average working mom, really hard. And when women who are privileged present as though they have it all together, it’s offensive to black women.”
