80% Of People Blame Banks

Sorta relevant to MC's last post.
I feel that people approve of Obama, because they know he is a socialist and they want socialism. They blame the banks, they blame themselves and they blame Bush for not doing enough to prevent this crisis. I wonder how many really blame the govt. for interfering in the first place.

Uh, this poll is kind of stupid. It's a hair early in Obama's administration to ask if he's to blame for the state of the economy. Wait six months and ask people how they feel he's done addressing the situation and you may have something.

Of course people blame the banks. Every day you have Frank, Dodd, Reid, Pelosi and the rest of that monkey cage we call the Congress is out in front of any camera they see screeching about how the banks WILL PAY for this. Just watch us, we'll tax the crap outta them just because "the people" have spoken.

You notice the one entity that was left off the list? Congress (et. al.) Not just the current group, but pretty much anyone who was in office the last, oh, 12 years or so.

The only thing I find fault with Obama so far is the fact that he's leading us all into Socialism. Other than that, he's doing just swell.

I find it difficult to put much weight into polls that sample 1000 people. That is not representative of the country as a whole and certainly not if the poll is of selected entry like many are anymore. I take polls for a company and there are qualifying questions, such as, "Do you work for a financial institution?" Most of the time when I answer yes to that, I'm disqualified from the poll. Polls are stupid. So is the government and fucking cat owners...
