...that whole Russia/Georgia thing was a set-up to swing the election for some time now, but it looks like we might have backed out on our end of the deal. Dems are gonna have a field day with this.
I have no idea what the deal was. I just remember Bush and Putin being thick as thieves a while back, and the timing on this Russian reemergence as a war machine couldn't have come at a better time for the Republicans.
With Putin coming out now and blaming us for the whole thing, it sounds like sour grapes over some kind of deal gone bad to me.
