TIME Can Suck It.

Fucking bullshit. Okay, I'll say it. Checking tire pressure sucks. And most gas stations have only one air hose for all these people that are supposed to be regularly adjusting their air pressure. And you have to go inside and ask someone to turn it on. And if it becomes a high demand people will start charging for the service. And speaking of charges, tune-ups aren't cheap. And how do they propose we cut down on idling? Are they suggesting shutting off our engines at stoplights or in traffic? I'm pretty sure that causes extra wear on your transmission, your starter and your ignition. Of course, I'm a horrible, lazy, selfish bastard for saying so. If only I'd been born a Democrat.

Some places already do charge. I think it is a quarter to fill your tires. That is just one less game of Frogger, that bastard.

What Time is failing to understand, and so is Obama, is that govt. has put restrictions on energy not the people, but Obama and now Time, is making it our problem to "produce" oil, because they can't admit the policy was stupid from the very beginning. It is very typical. The govt. interferes with the market and it becomes the consumers fault.

If filling up your tires uses less gas, then people are happy to know that information. That means less money at the pump, but to put it forward as an energy policy... Obama has no solutions to anything and is consistently wrong. (and yes, I think his original vote to not invade Iraq was wrong too, but now he is running around as if that vote proves he has good judgment. I am not saying people who didn't support the invasion have bad judgment, but I am saying it doesn't mean they have good judgment either.)

They aren't legally allowed to charge, that's why you can ask to get the air for free. But they don't go out there to make that very clear.

I love this,"buying less stuff and eating less meat". Buying less stuff and eating less meat has what effect on gas consumption? Seems like a weaker economy if we're buying less stuff...and the eating less meat must be because of the rampant global warming caused by cow farts...
