Comrade and I were talking about this and it seems that with drug wars, the flu wars and a corrupt government, this country is on the brink and a little fear mongering will send them over.

Calderon says he's winning the war against the cartels, that they are murdering themselves out of existance or functionality.Who knows how true that is but I would figure another price increase on beans would be a more likelier reason for an uprising. In other news Yamhill County here in Oregon closed the schools in their district today because two kids have the flu.
I have seen two people wearing masks, oddly enough one at Macy's in Walnut Creek and one at Macy's in S.F. I was thinking that it's oxymoronic to be out at a department store shopping in crowds touching racks of clothes touched by everyone in the crowd while wearing a piece of paper over half your face. Stay the fuck at home if you're afraid of getting sick. Otherwise, I may cough, sneeze, and blow snot rockets on you.
I've never seen anyone wearing masks, which is a shame, because they can really do a lot to protect you.. Maybe if they were more fashionable, people would reconsider for the sake of their health =/
