Hear, Hear! Or Is It, Here, Here?

Thanks, CJ, for finally sending me something that doesn't make me want to punch myself in the dick.

Sadly, taking on the liberal media reminds me of a saying. "never pick a fight with people who buy ink by the barrel."
The only people who can battle the liberal media are conservative media types. But that to me is where the real problem lies. When the liberal media speaks, liberals will band together in a show of support and solidarity even when the writer says something completely outrageous. Conservatives on the other hand do not show the same support. Often times the liberal media will represent a conservative radio host or writer's (i.e. rush and coulter) words way out of context and try to smear them. Conservatives allow this happen. They are too afraid to support conservative media in polite company the way liberals are willing to support NPR or Air America or Maureen Dowd. Often times conservatives will be the ones throwing them under the bus. Conservative media is depicted as radicals and conservatives allow this happen giving their side no credibility. When both liberals and conservatives discredit conservative media, it is easy to understand why the liberal media prevails.
