And it is. But it also possibly points towards something I have been saying for a while. That the gay and lesbian community is desperately trying to inflate their numbers in an attempt to gain a political foothold in this country. If we are to believe that people are born with a "gay gene," then there must a finite percentage of gay people in the country. People can not choose to become gay by the very "scientific" theory they use to protect themselves in the eyes of the law. This is why the Prop 8 thing is a bigger deal than people pretend it is. "Family" still holds a great deal of political sway in this country, and I worry about letting a clear and outstanding minority hold too much power in this supposed democracy of ours. Of course, it's probably already too late for California. We are already held hostage by a minority that does not even legally reside here. My two cents.
