Yes, there are examples of crazies on both sides of the aisle. Cindy Sheehan, the poor grieving mother who smiles everytime she is arrested and Ann Coulter, the stinking snob who smiles everytime she pisses someone off. The one big difference for me though is one is in invested in our defeat and the other is invested in our success. That is why I am able to accept one lunatic over another.

As I recall, you thought she was sorta right on about things. That was until she said liberals like abortion because they like killing children.
That is acually exactly what I said. Oh, I actually said that many of her points on abortion were valid to the degree that I had to question my own personal stance on that particular issue. I was a little put off on her view that liberals like to kill EVERYBODY. I felt that might be a bit overzealous and also a bit of a broad generalization.
Also, I don't even begin to pretend to understand what her points on Darwinism and Intelligent design were, because I can only take so much smug satisfaction and sarcasm. 200 pages or so is just about my limit.
I think you need to take a step back and look at how this woman represents herself. Obviously, she takes great time and effort to educate herself in regards to Republican rhetoric, policy and spin, which shows a strong sense of amition and righteousness. But then she stoops to making fun of how Cindy Sheehan looks in a pair of shorts, and shatters that sense of faux credibility she worked so hard to instill.
I could care less what she says about Fat Cindy. As far as I am concerned, Ann is an ugly ass twig and I am not just saying that to seem like I can see both sides. Name calling never bothers me and after reading some of your posts, I know name calling doesn't bother you either.
Nonetheless, I will take you advise. I will find a better hero. You are now my Hero.

Coulter is not a crazy. She's outspoken, yes, and has a good time poking jabs.
Read her stuff and skip the jabs (I love them) if you want.
There is no comparison between Sheehan and Coulter. They are both women, and that's about it when it comes to comparisons.
Coulter's writings make me think seriously about her point of view. And I get to laugh at the same time.
Sheehan is purely a puppet and a whiner. She has no original thoughts. The fact that her son was killed in battle is sad, but what's with all this other crap she's doing? There's no creativity, no insight, no serious analysis, just complaining and grandstanding.
Coulter is also a much better example for women to follow. She's a greater example of a woman who has broken societal norms. She does a great job holding a role almost always held by men.
Sheehan is a poor example of a female icon.
I should be more like the Baron. He isn't afraid to stick up for Coulter, to agree with what she stands for and doesn't make excuses on why he likes her. I, on the other hand, am afraid I will be lumped in as a Coulter Nazis supporter and I am afraid of what people think of me. I guess I am still a little liberal.
