This Jerk Again?
How do peopl like this rise to any sort of power? New Orleans DA Eddie Jordan keeps missing deadlines and letting murderers go free. I believe this is the same guy who is prosecuting the doctors and nursing home caregivers for the people who died in their care during Katrina. What an asshat.

I dunno. I think Judge Lynda Van Davis is a bigger ass hat for that ruling.
You can kill anyone you want in Louisiana as long as the prosecution misses a couple dates. What the heck is up with that?
The problem is that it's the law and she really had no choice. Any conviction would have been easily overturned on appeal. She can't change the law.
Plus, it would probably get everybody involved dibarred to have tried to prosecute after the deadlines were not met.
I believe you right, it does look like the same guy. But then again, you know what they say. Is that you Forest Whitaker?
