100th Anniversary of the 1906 SF Quake

April 18th will mark the 100th anniversary of the great 1906 quake. "Most experts" are predicting that the SF bay is due for something of that magnitude. There could be "unmitigated, complete, or absolute" desctruction in this area they say. Such a quake "could have" interesting siginificance, "virtually" shutting down communications, travel, power, etc.

Part of me just wants it to happen on a grand scale just to see what the rest of the US does. Maybe most of the US would just sit back and watch and laugh as Federal aid does not come due to this town's insistance on being idiotic.

Hell, it would be the best thing to happen that would allow people to buy homes around here.

You should know better than that Lord Kingly. Everyone knows it was the crab people. Still, when the crab men surface after the next earthquake, SF people will be paralyzed with fear now that they aren't allowed to have firearms. Baron- Has that law gone through yet?

I don't know if that has passed, but you've just given me another reason to go buy a hand gun.
