Arrrrgggghhhh!

Now that Obama has been elected, look how the Chicago Tribune is reporting the Iraq war.

"Today’s bombings in Iraq which left dozens dead is a stark and horrible reminder that, while violence has dropped significantly there as a result of the U.S. military’s surge, that country is still very dangerous.
It’s a measure of progress that today’s blasts, which killed at least 31 people in Baghdad and more elsewhere, according to the Associated Press, represented the worst day of violence since June. Less than two years ago such a time gap in major attacks was unheard of.
But it’s also true that the continuing violence indicates how difficult the challenge will be for President-elect Barack Obama. "

I'm trying to figure this out. I'm saddened by these events, but what the paper is trying to do is reiterate the need for Obama's agenda to pull out of Iraq and end the war, even though now he's admitted it won't be for at least 16 more months? The LSM don't have to disparage Bush because he's already out the door, but I'm sure they will because it's fun. But exactly what do they want to accomplish by using adjectives like "terrible," pressure the illuminati-elect into keeping his promise or portraying how badly we need him?
