The people running for the GOP choose to run. If black Republicans wanted to run they would be allowed to. Condi Rice is the most obvious example of that. It was her choice not to run for President not the GOP's. And in the past, same with Colin Powell. The AP on the other hand hire their staff. Could it be anymore clearer?
