Obviously Billy Corgan has been assimilated by the cult of Christianity, or maybe just the cult of believing in God at all. Worse than fucking Scientologists those-those Goddists!
Interesting how Corgan talked about working solely on singles. I was just thinking this the other day. With the vast majority of music consuming society purchasing $.99 songs at a time, what really is the point of releasing full length albums. I realize the music snobs will wail at the fall of an institution, but the truth of the matter, as far as I'm concerned, is that there is an exhorbitant amount of album filler in the world today. Man, would I love Ween more if I didn't have to skip through the four or five shitbox tracks they insist on putting on every album.
I was thinking the same thing. I can't remember the last time I liked an album all the way through. Of course I don't buy music anymore so what do I know. I say youtube videos take over for MTV.
By the way, Ween would release one of the shitbox tracks as a single. :)
