NY School Renamed "Barack Obama" By Students

"District officials believe the school is the first in the country to be named for Obama. But even though Obama will not take office until January 20, many other efforts to rename schools, parks and streets to mark his historic win are already underway. Winston Baldwin Spencer, the prime minister of Antigua and Barbuda, a country in the Caribbean, says he is taking steps to have Antigua's highest mountain peak renamed Mount Obama. And many parents around the world have named their newborns Barack."
