Damned If You Do, Damned If You Don't

I find this interesting. Sure, this may seem like a severe and even somewhat barbaric form of punishment, but with parents today being threatened with jail time for kids skipping class (Which, from my personal recollections, my parents probably couldn't have done much about, if they had even known it was going on), maybe a more traditional "Time Out" just doesn't cut the mustard.
