The Party That Is Controlled By "Group Think"

The Republicans don't always agree with one another. The latest esxamples of that is the illegal immigration bill and the Dubai Ports deal, but they also don't eat their young when disagreements occur. This really can't be said about the opposition party. I don't want to beat a dead horse, but I am going to. When it comes to the War in Iraq, the Democrats are in total disarray.

This party is so scared of its "Kook Base" that representatives are afraid to come forward if they support this war. Zel Miller is good example of what happens to them if they do. And it doesn't stop with him. We all remember how Curly Joe Sheehan threatened to challenge Feinstein for supporting The Presidents war policies and there was Susan Sarandon's comment about how Hillary Clinton was "A Great Disappointment" because of Clinton's initial vote and support for the war. (Clinton was also booed during a speech she gave at some college, but I can't remember the details. I do know that her war stance was the reason for the ruckus) Now we have Leiberman
"Sen. Joe Lieberman’s strong stand on national security has so rankled some
fellow Democrats that they actually booed him at a political dinner on Thursday
night."
You have got to be kidding me. McCain has rankled many a Republicans feathers, but is he booed at political dinners? Not that I know of.
