Ahhh Socialists.... In their misdirected attempt to create job security all they've done is make it so that employers are scared to hire anyone. The same can be said here in America where affirmative action is backfiring the same way.
Amazingly the French government seems to be trying to change things, a little. It's still government meddling in free enterprise, but I guess its a step in some kind of correct direction. Hell, the French Parliament and the French President have stood up to the protests by those spoiled students and the government is kind of, sort of, moving forward with the original plan.

It is a wonder this country has lasted as long as it had. I am not shocked though. Working in restuarants, I got to see many a French families come in with their bratty kids and lets just say it was a lot like this. Ooops, I stereotyped. Back to the old timesaver.
