I'm Stumped.

At first glance I had a certain aount in restored faith in our legal system when I saw this item, but now I'm not so sure. At face value it's nice to see someone get their frivolous lawsuits thrown back in there face with a hefty penalty attached, but without more detail than is provided, how can we be sure? Discrimination and hate crime laws seem to go only one way in this country, so perhaps Mr. Murphy was trying to prove a point. Obviously going about it in a rather extreme and poorly thought out way, but trying to prove a point nonetheless. Or maybe he really is a nut job. Who can say for sure without more to go on, but I thought I'd throw this out there for some uninformed debate.
